Today was a day for new experiences, good wines and Beaune.  I tasted a 1966 Pinot noir from Henri de Villamont and a 1996 Pinot as well.  We enjoyed the nuances of French accents and this added to our entertainment.

The hospitality, wines and food experienced today rates as the highlight of this trip.  Henri de Villamont and Louis Latour were exceptionally hospitable and we could never repay our hosts for graciously treating us to Beaune.
